3 Main Pillars of MMI
As an international organisation, we hope to connect students locally and abroad under one roof through projects, events and connect sessions.
Through projects and events, we equip ourselves with crucial skills and knowledge essential to our career as future doctors of tomorrow.
We hope to cultivate a generation of research-centred, holistic doctor-leaders, ready and prepared to serve for a better tomorrow.
We hope to provide an opportunity for you to gain some exposure to medicine through various virtual taster activities such as ‘Keynote Speeches’, ‘Doctors in the House’ and ‘Simulated Emergency: T.R.I.A.G.E.’
We hope to provide participants a bird's eye view of the journey as a doctor with these 2 topics:
1. Medicine: Is It All About Expectations?
2. Medicine: Clinical V.S. Non-Clinical Field
Doctors in the House is a medical history taking session that features participants role-playing as doctors and as patients. In this activity, participants will be given the opportunity to learn how to perform the medical interview by taking history from simulated patients.
To Respond Immediately And Gauge Effectively (or T.R.I.A.G.E for short) is an exciting problem-based game packed with action and fun that is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat once you’ve accomplished all tasks, each more daunting than the last!
We strive to aid students who are passionate about medicine to make the right career choice. In addition, we also equip aspiring medical students with information on various study pathways and other healthcare professions.
Let's see what we got from our participants and committee!
